Is locked-down rehab the answer for Lindsay Lohan?
On Monday, Judge James Dabney ordered the embattled actress, 26, to 90 days at a sober facility, along with psychotherapy and community service. Late to her hearing by 48 minutes, Lohan pled no contest to reckless driving and lying to cops back in June, when she crashed her Porsche.
The rehab sentencing is not a first for the former Mean Girls star, who was ordered to the Betty Ford Center at the end of 2010. The stint at the clinic – her fifth stint in rehab overall – was troublesome, leading to a police investigation over assault of an employee and being accused of sneaking out to buy alcohol.
In June 2011, Lohan was confined to house arrest for a theft conviction, then sparked controversy when she was photographed with cigarettes and a smile during a rooftop barbecue with pals at her Venice, Calif., home.
She even managed to ruffle the feathers of inmates at Lynwood, Calif.’s Century Regional Detention Facility when she stayed there in 2010.
