The Grand Ole Opry House will reopen on Tuesday night with a star-studded homecoming event, hosting its first concert since flooding devastated Nashville in May and inundated the world’s most famous country-music venue.
Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Martina McBride, Blake Shelton, Dierks Bentley, Josh Turner and Jason Aldean are among those scheduled to perform as part of Country Comes Home: An Opry Celebration, airing live at 9 p.m. ET on GAC, Opry.com and GACTV.com.
“Every Opry show is special, but the show tonight is going to be so meaningful,” Turner says. “It won’t be a typical Opry show. It’s going to be one for the ages.”
The Opry did not miss a single show due to the floods, broadcasting from different venues around Nashville while its home was being restored and refurbished.
